Problem Description
Error 58040 Error copying document. When logging into ProjectWise client and this error occurs and a background map is being used, verify that the user has read privileges to where the background map is located.
A sample of the error message will read as follows:
Last Error [58040]
Error copying document '55:3' to client.
Access denied. You have insufficient privileges to finish this operation.
Where '55:3' actually represents the folder ID and document number of the users last opened file.
Solution
The user will have to have read privileges to where ever the background map is stored.
