Problem Description

[50000] Cannot start redlining the specified document. Not found.
[50000] Not Found.
These 2 errors appears on the user specific database. PW 08.09.04.89 and Redline 08.09.04.51.
User already has .rdl and .dgn files in the folder.
Right click on .dgn file and select "Redline" from the menu. Redline opens and user can do come changes. In PWE, you can see that the .rdl file is checked out successfully. After checking the document back in the set icon appears on the .rdl document icon and then trying to redline it again - user is getting one of these two error messages.

Solution

Simplified explanation from PRT guys: Something wrong is happening with the references of the documents in this database. After doing steps above, .dgn file cannot recognize .rdl file as a redline reference, and starts treating it like a simple attachment (reference), which is causing this error(s).

The workaround would be to check out both documents and then – right click in the .dgn and select redline. Everything is opening fine again, user can redline, after the work is done, save changes, close redline and check both docs manually. Set icon goes away from the redline document and the issue as well. After that, there is not needed to check the both documents out manually.
