Problem Description
When creating a document using the Naming Standard in ProjectWise user receives the following error Last Error 58129: Can not create the document. Document Code serial number is invalid.
The Unique ID is supposed to read as 004 but when we get the error and go back to the Naming Standard page it reads as 4
Steps to Resolve
- Delete Naming Standard for the environment.
- Delete the Attribute unique_id
- Recreate the attribute unique_id as a varchar and characters set to 4.
- Go to editing and set the format to %0u without specifying character amounts.
Once re-created the Naming Standard on the Environment, the documents were created correctly. Also see: see http://communities.bentley.com/other/old_site_member_blogs/bentley_employees/b/jo_wests_blog/archive/2009/03/31/accept-able-environment-attribute-format-string-options.aspx
