Problem Description
When creating renditions via iCS Admin Scheduled Jobs, user getting “Failed to create renditions on XXXX: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80010105): The server threw an exception. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010105 (RPC_E_SERVERFAULT))
The problem only occurs when using a certain Presentation Component (settings file).
Steps to Resolve
- Had user edit the Projectwise Interplot settings file via the Projectwise Interplot Organizer utility.
- Discovered that the user had inadvertently selected the "Publish all properties" option on the General tab under the "Property Filter (pdf only)" heading. Once this value was set back to the default of "Do no set", all renditions worked successfully.
