Problem Description
After adding an additional server to PW network configuration, the previous datasources do not show
Reason
There is a duplicate datasource name on the new server. For example, server1:ProjectWise.Companya.com , server2:ProjectWise.Companyb.com Only one server will populate because of the duplicate name (regardless of domain name)
Steps to Resolve
- In the [Gateway] section of the dmskrnl.cfg file on one of the gateway servers, enter the following (using the name of the server you are on)
on the server named ProjectWise.companyA.com enter the following, which tells the client to send the traffic directly to that server.
ProjectWise.companyA.com=ProjectWise.companyA.com
OR
- Manually add/remove servers to PW network configuration as needed
