Adding ProjectWise path and folder name to Office file footer

Problem Description

Below are steps on how to add a footer to any Microsoft Office document to show folder path and File name of the file that is opened from ProjectWise.

Steps to Resolve

1. In Word ; To add the coding to display the ProjectWise path and document file name, open the footer: (sc1) and (sc2)

2. click CTRL – F9 in between the { } right click and select Edit Filed.... (sc3)

3. In the Catergories dropdown: select document Information and select DocProperties then select /Folder Name/ (sc4)

4. This will add the folder path (sc5)

to add the file name

1. In same line put in a slash / to the end of the folder path

2. Click CTRL – F9

3. Then type 'FILENAME' between the { } (sc6)

4. To update the file name; click close/open or right click and select update field
